LAMIN - GEPEMIN

About the coordinator of the Laboratory and Research Group on Inorganic and Nanostructured Materials at Unifesp - Diadema campus

Prof. Dr. Ana Paula de Azevedo Marques has been a lecturer at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) since 01/2011. She is currently Associate Professor II at the Federal University of São Paulo - Unifesp, Diadema campus.

The professor teaches courses in the area of Inorganic Chemistry, Fundamental Chemistry and Materials Science, both for undergraduate (Chemistry, Engineering, Biology and Pharmacy courses) and for postgraduate courses (PPG-ECM and PPGQ-CTS).

She has been coordinator of the Laboratory of Inorganic and Nanostructured Materials (LAMIN) and of the Study and Research Group on Inorganic and Nanostructured Materials ( GEPEMIN ), both at Unifesp - Diadema campus, since 2012. The LAMIN Research Laboratory is located on the second floor of the building. Research by Unifesp Diadema, located at Rua São Nicolau, n. 120, Center. LAMIN is a member of LINS (Laboratory of Natural and Synthetic Inputs).

He directs Master's and Doctor's degrees in the Lines of Research at LAMIN for two Postgraduate Programs at Unifesp, the PPG Interunits in Engineering and Materials Science ( PPG-ECM ) and the PPG in Chemistry, Science and Technology of Sustainability ( PPGQ-CTS ). He coordinated the PPG-ECM of Unifesp between 07/2018 and 11/2021.

Participates as a researcher at the Special Ceramic Materials Group, located at the Federal University of São Carlos, São Carlos campus, in the Department of Chemistry. Member of the Nucleus CIENCIA E INGENIERIA DE MATERIALES (NCIM) , of the Asociación de Universities Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), a network of public, autonomous and self-governing universities from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Coordinates and guides undergraduate and graduate students in research projects in the lines "Development of Nanostructured Materials with Technological Applications, in Health and Environment"; "Study of Advanced and Nanostructured Ceramic Materials" and "Study of Coordination Compounds and Hybrid Materials". His research projects were financially supported by funding agencies FAPESP, under number 2021/13132-9, 2016/20578-5, 2013/07437-5 and 2016/046721, and CNPq, under number 576563/2008-0.

Among the research activities stand out the synthesis of nanostructured semiconductor materials in the form of powders and thin films from two different methods, hydrothermal assisted by microwave and complex polymerization method, pure and doped with rare earths for multifunctional applications; emphasis on photocatalytic, magnetic, optical, sensor and environmental applications.

Citations of full articles published in journals (40 articles located by Publon) generate an h-index of 21; meaning that at least 21 published documents received a minimum of 21 citations (ref. https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=35594986500 ).

The publications were carried out in different scientific journals, with a high scientific concept. The information in parentheses refers to the number of articles published in the journal.
